As a fitting finale at the end of a successful season for Kingfishers, Sam Stewart, Maddie Gautier and Ellie Langman travelled to GL1 in Gloucester for the Southwest regional sprint meet.
They each raced against some of the best swimmers in the South West region in 50 meter sprints and the 100 meter individual medley, and although no medals were won, they all swam fantastically - achieving many personal best times.
Sam, Maddie and Ellie qualified for this prestigious event in May and were delighted to represent Kingsbridge Kingfishers at regional level.
Other Kingfisher swimmers that competed at the ASA youth competition this year were Emma Noyce, Charlotte Blake, Jenny Grace and Emily Lawrence - with each achieving outstanding performances.
