By now, you will have completed your first January sessions and be looking forward to the rest of the season, whether that involves stretching yourselves in competitions (e.g. the upcoming Devon Championships) or simply working hard to improve your technique and times.
Your Club and Coaches expect swimmers in Gold Squad to be training at least 3 times per week and in Silver Squad at least twice per week. This is necessary to make progress from your current standard; any less and you will keep fit but not be working hard enough or often enough to really improve.
For Bronze Squad swimmers, this would be 8-9am, all other swimmers 7:30-9am. An early start on a Sunday can sound daunting, but most who do it love the fact that they shake off the cobwebs early and then have the rest of the day to enjoy.
We also have the possibility of re-starting a Friday morning session (7-8:30am) for Silver & Gold Squad swimmers. If you are interested in adding this session, please email the Treasurer OR if you would like to swap an existing session for a Friday morning, please also let us know.
